I'm not sure who that is. If it's Beard I disagree. He's not my number 1 choice but I think he'd do well here IF he behaved. Two to three years
I'm not giving up yet but am worried. If I hear a credible source say we have reached out to Alford well...I have faith in Dolson. Let the man cook.
Don't worry. Scott Dolson is the only credible source here. And he ain't talkingI'm not giving up yet but am worried. If I hear a credible source say we have reached out to Alford well...

Congrats on one of the dumbest posts I’ve read in a long while. A+.It is not the athletic director's fault that IU isn't that appealing. This job isn't what IU fans think it is. Terrible arena, fans that boo their team and not being relevant for the past quarter century plus doesn't inspire many from outside to wanting this job.
Otz sounds like a great option too, what don't you like about him?
So that makes it official?I think Goodman scratched him from the list. 🤔
Absolutely, he's secretly Trilly Donovan. So that makes it official?
Who's Goodman's source. His daughter?
Goodman can be a smug d!ck, but I don’t doubt this is accurate.Goodman, Doyle, Dakich are all click bait sellers. Don’t listen to those Kardashians.
From all accounts the final 3 in the last search were Woodson, Matta and Porter Moser.Only one on that list I thought was much of a possibility. A couple I didn't want.
There's plenty of fine coaches in the profession. We'll get a good one.
Nothing wrong with taking a flyer on a guy like McCollum if he's interested, maybe Vandy's guy if he's interested. We took a flyer on Woodson. Now maybe we'll take a flyer on someone who has been, you know, coaching college basketball.

What a joke. This is what I fully expected as well, except I don’t write about about basketball and supposedly have “inside” knowledge. I would think 90% of us figured it wasn’t going to be the 4 guys he mentioned. I will bet this time though that Dolson is going to get it right. Let’s “enjoy” the ride until decision time, and then support the next Indiana University basketball coach. GO HOOSIERS!!
He’s butthurt….throws in extra shade. Fu$& Goodman.Goodman can be a smug d!ck, but I don’t doubt this is accurate.
Wtf does Goofman, know?
Yeah, shitty 'journalism '. As par for the course. What a joke. This is what I fully expected as well, except I don’t write about about basketball and supposedly have “inside” knowledge. In my opinion (which I don’t know shit), there are only 2 coaches to pick from. Beard or McCollum. Problem is Beard would say yes, but may not get asked. McCollum might get asked, but IU may not be on his final radar(Iowa). Back to just settling I guess. Did I mention I am really enjoying my season tickets to football!Yeah, shitty 'journalism '. As par for the course.
No one realistically felt Stevens was an option.
Dusty May wasn't going to leave Michigan.
Never felt Drew was an option. Maybe ?
TJ? Possibly. Is he really off the table?
Goofman told us a bunch of was already known.
He could be like “Iowas Stevens”… he grew up close to Iowa…but didn’t go there. I have to imagine Iowa is an aspirational place for him though. But what happens to those aspirations if a program like IU goes all in with him?In my opinion (which I don’t know shit), there are only 2 coaches to pick from. Beard or McCollum. I am trying to keep the faith. Hopefully he clears the bases with a grand slam.I got faith in Scott. Looks like he has total control here. Love it.
That’s what I’m hoping for.He could be like “Iowas Stevens”… he grew up close to Iowa…but didn’t go there. I have to imagine Iowa is an aspirational place for him though. But what happens to those aspirations if a program like IU goes all in with him?
My biggest concern would be that he has heard about some of the petty fans/board that we have. But I would hope he could see through that and like Coach Cig sayThat’s what I’m hoping for.
You don't recognize Chris Beard in 2025?I'm not sure who that is. If it's Beard I disagree. He's not my number 1 choice but I think he'd do well here IF he behaved.
My wife has asked me to behave for over 30 years. I’m still not very good at it.I'm not sure who that is. If it's Beard I disagree. He's not my number 1 choice but I think he'd do well here IF he behaved.
You are correct.Lmao….old news.
"They are way behind. IU looking into Beard was Thursday. Looked into, moved on."
Depending on the money involved, there will be some donors in the know.Don't worry. Scott Dolson is the only credible source here. And he ain't talking
