Good post by Kellerdog on Premie

Watched this and they're repeating what the Hysterics were saying on their most recent podcast.
Sounds like is total lack of control, from the top.
The fan base has really lost their zeal for IU BB with this team and unfortunately it's all on CMW. He's a dead man walking unless he can completely turn things around, but unfortunately that requires dedication, persistence, and hard work. All traits that are completely lacking.

IU basketball has become a national embarrassment to college hoops. Not only because of Woodson however. From the decision makers to coaches to players. A sad reflection of the state they represent. Someone with integrity and the understanding of what the game means to folks in Indiana must be given control to repair the damage. Remove the BOT and president from the process. Have an AD with the power, knowledge and cahones to make informed decisions for the long term success of the program. Hang some banners.

Sounds like Woodson punished him before it got out of control, yeah?

That situation has occurred on many many teams. I don't think it represents "total lack of control".

Maybe it suggests a loss of focus. A lack of leadership. A lack of winning mindset. But probably not a total lack of control.

Think about the situation at Alabama with Brandon Miller, or even the Hanner Perea sagas. Those were much more severe.

You have to put in 70 hours a week and totally believe in the mission to want to succeed.

We went from a program in 1992 where 11 of the 13 players were from Indiana to a program of high paid guys who woodson bought in the spring. I get times are different but purdue still has mostly indiana guys and gets them in the fall.

And Reynolds from Illinois and Lindeman from Michigan.. Crazy.

How do you know? The season is not over, and you and all the rest are counting CMW and INDIANA out.

You are looking at things in the past, not the future.

Hey look who rose from the dead….its been so gloomy lately. Could use a little sunshine.
When the sunshine pumpers come out from hiding and become harsh MW critics we will know it’s finally over. Happens every time.

Yes, there are some here that are perpetually negative. But, it seems they have been consistently correct, just early. The sunshine pumpers, on the other hand, seem to toe the party line until a change is more than just imminent.

Either way, sit back and enjoy the ride. At least this forum will be entertaining.

Unfortunately, the ride is not enjoyable.
Words taken from my mouth. What about any of this is enjoyable? We know where this train is heading. It’s not even fun to watch the team play. At least with Crean there were some great games to watch. I even miss watching Troy Williams play at a thousand mile an hour, and we all knew he was off the rails on the court.

Pretty sure past results are the method used in all sports to determine winners and losers. And the same method the committee uses to make tourney selections. And how most programs evaluate a coach’s results and whether or not to keep the coach. And how most adults jobs operate. Competitive sports is the ultimate meritocracy. So…what‘s your point?
