From the Newsweek article:

'Patrick De Haan, from GasBuddy.com, said in a statement: "As concerns over tariffs and policy uncertainties grow, gas prices have continued to decline across much of the country, raising the possibility that the national average could slip below $3 per gallon and approach some of the lowest prices seen in years."

But he added: "When the economy slows, gasoline demand drops—along with demand for other refined products like diesel and jet fuel. We've already seen some signals that the months ahead could be challenging." '

So, hmmmmmmm.

With this flurry of actions, tariffs, tightening the border, increasing domestic energy production, deporting illegals, erasing all evidence of DEI from government websites, all evidently intended to increase the productivity and viability of American-made goods and services, it seems like there’s one policy that’s missing: white girls and boys producing more babies!

Indoctrinated to hate sex and that the tranny life is heroic. Give it time

Sec schools are trying

Border: locked

Inflation: way down

Russia/Ukraine: peace is imminent

Where is the love?

I’m not sure there’s been an administration that ever delivered on their three biggest campaign promises, much less in under two months. It’s been absolutely incredible and every American should be giving this administration credit for never before seen effectiveness.

Alas, the miserable among us will find anything to complain about.

Getting some good stuff done.

LFG!!!!!!!! Good times ahead!!!! Do you think we’ll get Bruce Pearl for iu?
Nope. The f#cking problem with IU is they're ran by a bunch of shit libs. We need a couple Dream Teamers running the show (I volunteer myself). Bruce Pearl will be the head coach and Beard will be his assistant. For all the dorks worried about Beard's drinking problem? Piss off. We're serving beer in the locker room. I don't want to make him drive to a bar or liquor store to get it.

Border: Fair enough

Inflation: has been trending nearly straight down for over 2 years with some variability.

Russia/Ukraine: as long as we let Putin win. We better get teh mineral though.

His disruptiveness, however, will be his downfall. The markets hate it and they are more powerful than any US president.

Bruh, the human gestation period takes time. August 12th, 2025 will be 40 weeks from election day and the start of Baby Boom 2.0! Gonna be mega crapton of babies being born...named Tulsi, Karoline, Kash and Elon...and don't forget the Donalds!

Tariff saber rattling has crushed consumer confidence and is the main reason behind the precipitous drop in inflation and the markets.

You don’t get have everything, anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you. Life is about trade offs and we’ve traded away artificial stimulus for a drop in inflation.

Good. Good.

I'm filling up the gas guzzler today, so I'll see what the gas prices are here.

With the policy of deporting as many violent aliens as possible as soon as possible, there will be more reproducers of all races around and in one piece. Nothing from the Leftists on here about it.............

It’s madness how different they are across a city
In California and Hawaii, two places with high gas prices (high taxes on gas), it really pays off to get gas on the bases where it's usually a buck or even two bucks cheaper. Bases make these agreements with the local and state governments, and they don't pay the state taxes. California and Hawaii with all their faults don't mind the big difference for military personnel. In Ohio they care. The gas prices on Wright-Patterson can't be lower than the average price in the surrounding area even if they're not paying state taxes so I can usually find gas cheaper off base. It actually pays off to get a Sam's Club membership just for the cheaper gas and it doesn't take too many times to save enough to cover the cost of a membership.

How much of a discount are you actually getting? I'll save 20 cents per gallon with Costco, but you have to fill up quite a few times for just that to pay off a membership cost.

I wasn't clear enough in that last sentence. I haven't gotten a membership yet. One of my golf buddies told me all that yesterday while we were golfing and I'm planning to go to Sam's Club and check it out. He said the cheaper membership is $50 and allows access to gas. He said he's getting up to 50 cents savings a gallon. He has an F150 and Jeep which suck down the gas. I'll see all the details myself when I get over there - probably this weekend.

There must be something to it bc the line is always long

That seems high, but there could be regional, Sam's vs. Costco and premium/regular differences. Up by me, we go to Costco and Kirkland is about 20 cents less. But I only drive a Mazda Miata, so regular suits me fine.

You'd be surprised what people do for 20 cents/gallon.

Costco isn't as close to me. My golf buddy has a membership to Costco too. When we do the Myrtle Beach golf trip, we also do a run to Costco there to get some supplies. We usually grill steaks for the entire group one night.

They have some really good deals on quality meat and fish. I like to get Ahi steaks in the summer, but have had good luck with other things.

I have a “friend” on fb. Not friends but I’ve known him for 35 years. Who only posts his face on other actors in movie scenes. That’s literally all he posts.
That's actually hilarious.

How often does he post? Please tell me once a day or more.

About once every few weeks. And they’re seamlessly done. And again that is ALL he posts. And he’s a big hoosier which makes it even stranger. He might be in GOT. he might be in Copland. He might be in the notebook. You never know. It’s never limited to a genre
