We got on a great run in the BTT that was upended by a fluke bank shot. Time to get on another run today!

I don't know how some of these announcers get their jobs. I dont care how much you know there is a point where the voice is a big part of it. Bardo is just excruciating to listen to

I remember when we had WTTV 4 and there was the Purdue group and Chuck and Laz then Kitch doing IU . The PU guy was ok but just different voices but some of these guys are just horrible

Oh yeah. What kills me is the television guys sometimes talk MORE than the radio guys, and YOU CAN SEE THE GODDAM GAME.

I have listened to Fish on the radio all year with no TV. If it wasn't for YouTube I would have no idea if either team was playing man or zone defense. Fish follows the ball but little else.

I think terrible.

Their excitement sounds very forced, artificial (though I’m sure it’s not). Play-by-play has an unpleasant voice and odd pronunciation (“P-hur-dooo!”), and Bobby “Buckets” Riddell, former walk-on turned color commentator, uses his bedroom voices: quiet, sincere, seductive during featured interviews, a loud low growl during games when PU is lighting it up.

Don and Errek (especially) have their own problems, but are practically Jack Buck and Ernie Harwell compared to those two.

Surh is pretty average, Don is the GOAT. Definitely lost a step with his age but dude paints a picture. What I really took for granted until I heard other guys is just how many more words he uses. Every touch.

Oh, I agree Don is incredible. I could just go quite a number of seasons without ever hearing the phrase “at this juncture.”

And that’s pretty much the beginning and end of my criticism of Fisch.
