Yeah, wondered what in the hell was going on with that. And why didn’t the announcers say something?
Time to stop having 80 year olds running the clock.

Actually I don't know if that's the case for IU but you see these old geezers running the scoreboard a lot. That's why they have to add time back on so often, their reflexes are shot and they can't stop/start it properly.

This one is above my pay grade. For a reset to 20 seconds, I thought it was covered by "2. There is a kicked or fisted ball by the defensive team and the ball is to be inbounded in the front court by the offense." OSU kicked the ball, not IU. This was the 2023 rule so maybe it changed.
My logic says the clock should have reset to 30. I'll get a headache if I have to read any deeper into the rule book.

My immediate thought was "WTF are you doing?" followed by "WTF was going on with the clock or did I black out for 10 seconds?".

The refs tried screwing us on his 25 footer. Shot clock started at 20, everyone in the gym saw it and screamed. Refs buried their heads so he had to chuck it up. Luck was on IU’s side.

Galloway referred to that in his postgame comments... Something to the effect of: none of us knew the rule... Which I thought was pretty odd...

It's somewhere on here:
