Today marks the first day that coaches can go on the road for the fall recruiting.
Indiana will be on the road today as it plans to visit a few different players.
To start, Indiana rolled with its entire staff to see 2025 Fishers guard Jalen Haralson.
Haralson has been on campus for an unofficial visit already and has two return visits planned to Indiana.
Indiana assistant coach Brian Walsh then went to go see Lawrence North 2025 guard Azavier Robinson.
Notably, one key prospect TheHoosier.com has confirmed the staff is expected to see on Friday is 2023 four-star forward Arrinten Page. USC and Cincinnati will also be in attendance.
Page has taken all five expected visits up to this point. There isn’t an expectation that he takes visits to any schools outside of the core five that are involved right now: Indiana, USC, Miami, Missouri and Cincinnati.
As TheHoosier discussed earlier this week, the biggest x-factor in this recruitment could be five-star point guard Isaiah Collier.
Cincinnati and USC are the two programs recruiting both. Talking to people behind the scenes, it seems to be split if the two will play together. If so, USC may have the slight edge.
Sources have also indicated that Indiana may have the edge over Miami. Missouri seems to be a long shot option.

Yasir Rosemond will be in to see 2023 four-star guard commit Jakai Newton on Friday, Newton tells TheHoosier.com. Mike Woodson may be making an appearance as well.
Newton is still recovering from a knee injury he had surgery on earlier this summer. He says he is progressing but there has been no need to rush back.

Expect Indiana to be in to see Sycamore (Oh.) forward Raleigh Burgess ‘within the next week’, he told Rivals.
Indiana has done a terrific job with Burgess up to this point. He has made multiple unofficial visits to Indiana.
Indiana, Ohio State and Wisconsin all prioritizing him

2024 top-25 forward Derik Queen scheduled his official visit this week for the weekend of September 25th.
He will join top-30 wing Liam McNeeley on the visit.
Indiana’s biggest competitor for Queen is Maryland. Maryland head coach Kevin Willard has made it a priority to keep DMV kids in the state and has done a phenomenal job at doing so. This looks like it could be another IU/Maryland battle.
Sources tell TheHoosier.com that Queen has set his visit to Maryland for the weekend of October 1.
With Queen’s Montverde teammates Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau at Indiana, it will certainly help. But, sources indicate it’s not a shoe-in that Queen will just follow because of that.
At this moment, he’s still in the 2024 class but there continue to be whispers about potentially heading the 2023 route. If that happens, it most likely wouldn’t happen until the spring.

A newer name in the class of 2024 to receive an offer late in the summer was Sidwell (DC) High School 6-foot-7 wing Caleb Williams. Indiana is expected to see him later in the afternoon, per source.
Williams has offers from Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Villanova, Georgetown and more.
He took visits to Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech this summer.
He plays for Team Takeover 16U on the EYBL circuit. His AAU coach tells TheHoosier.com that Williams has two more visits set - one to Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria and another to Michigan.
"Great kid to coach. Works hard in practice and he is rewarded in games. Biggest attribute is winner. He just makes winning plays. Defensively and offensively... As far as growth, everyone knows he can shoot and score. He showed he can defend and rebound. His rebounding increased each session. One attribute that didn’t jump out with stats is his ability to be a facilitator. He is a great passer and decision maker."

A 2024 name to keep an eye on is Daquan Davis. He is a 6-foot point guard who is hearing from Indiana.
He plays for Team Takeover and was pivotal in their Peach Jam 16U title.
He is visiting Butler this fall and Maryland is heavily involved already as well.
TheHoosier.com saw him a few times at Peach Jam - here were our takeaways:
