For all the Trump apologists

It's the 'laws and processes to follow' that is really at the crux of this. The MAGA crowd wants to conflate due process with wanting to put an alleged criminal back on the streets of Maryland. Most of us are just concerned with determining the 'alleged' part.

Either we're a nation of laws or we aren't. Some Trump supporters are OK with a collective shrug and going along with whatever is administration says.
Why didn't you care about the 'nation of laws' when Biden was letting them in illegally without doing anything about it?

You're such a fraud. You care nothing about laws and everything about the Democrats winning elections.

It's all I've ever heard.

20 million is the accepted number.
No. It's not.
It's the number that Trump and Vance have been throwing out with no actual evidence from any credible source that can prove it. Most official websites that track the statistics say it's closer to 6m to 8m, and not even 10.

It is only "accepted" if you believe in the philosophy *If you state a lie enough times, it becomes fact."

I don't believe I said that, but you're getting emotional about it.

Maybe respond to what I actually post instead of getting hysterical and making shit up.

I'm not emotional in the least. I know I'm winning the argument when you go at me and not the issue at hand.

Once again, can Trump get him back or not, or is the El Salvador president more powerful then the U.S. president in terms of deals negotiation?

I think you have me confused with someone else.

Sure, and he COULD invade El Salvador to get him back.

You don't understand what facilitate means.
'facilitate' certainly doesn't mean invade El Salvador. It's more aligned with what Trump was hinting at. You, me and everyone reading this knows that Trump could get him back with a phone call. To Trump's credit, I think he was telling the truth - he could do that, he just doesn't want to.

Definition of "facilitate"

We are not playing this game. You do not get to intentionally destroy the country and then complain when the Republican cleans up your mess.

Too many pundits and even lawyers not well acquainted with due process don’t understand the requirements.

Starting with the notion that an illegal migrant has no property right in continued presence in the United States, the process required to return such a migrant is at the most minimal end of the DP continuum. In similar cases where no property or liberty interest is implicated, all DP requires is to give the subject the opportunity to respond to the claim of illegal entry. This can be done administrative ly or by an ICE officer in the field. The deciding official need not be correct. DP only requires reasonableness. which I think can be fulfilled by a legitimate belief of illegal presence.

Due process protects more than property rights. But even if that's all that was at stake--they're not playing that game, as has been repeated multiple times.

He’s so dumb. Someone on his staff photoshopped that photo to include in his briefing not thinking he’d post it. Now they’re knee deep in it because no one will explain it to him and they’re going to have to figure out how to double down on this.

I’m guessing a spitballing idea was to have Bukele actually tattoo “MS 13” on Garcia’s knuckles.
Exactly.

Trump should have just altered the photo with a Sharpie. His people don't care about that.

Or both...

At this point, for me, the Democrats are the ones on the clock. Its plain and clear, at this point, that Trump is who he is, who he's always been, and will always be. And there's no way the GOP fully turns on him...basically ever at this point.

So, if we have a chance at sanity and competency...it'll have to come from the Democrats side. I posted this a couple days ago... right now, today, get behind some people like Beshear, Shapiro, Moore... start scouring your benches for candidates more like them to run in House/Senate/Governors races.

Put out a working "platform"... that includes realistic, common sense things that address things like Immigration, Foreign Trade, Economy...churn out bill, after bill, after bill... don't put stupid meaningless pork in any of them.... Bills that attack singular issues, none of them longer than a few pages... send them out via X for everyone to see... hammer congress and Trump with them.

Its such a simple approach, and would very easily "work", right now. The Democrats would completely take over everything. But it won't happen. It would require them to be genuine... to jeopardize relationships they make a ton of money from...

So... the ping pong match of bullshit will continue... AOC vs Vance will be sooo compelling... barf. I hate everyone right now.
Translation: trump is brilliant, because Democrats did something else.

that number was out there well before Trump/Vance.

It's a number that is very reasonable, by going back and looking at the reports as they occurred.

I answered your question and then you freaked out. I assume he could get him back here if he interfered with El Salvador's government - i.e. pressured them to change their policies.

But you didn't answer if you advocated that. Why not?

Why can't you just give me your definition of 'facilitate'? Seems like it should be a simple and easy thing to do.

This is so dumb. You know what 'facilitate' means. At least I'd assume and hope you do.

We both know what it means. I didn't ask you for my understanding. I know full well what it means, which is why I know Trump is in compliance with the SC decision. And you do, too. Otherwise, you'd post the definition.

Thank you. Trump said he'd fly the guy back if El Salvador released him. That's called facilitating.
Just for the sake of argument, would you have been so nonchalant had the Supreme Court ordered the Biden administration to 'facilitate' the delivery of Hunter Biden's laptop and they told them to pound sand?

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID!

lmao You undercut your own argument. The FBI hid the laptop for over a year and still didn't admit it was Hunter's until later. Then claimed it was Russian disinformation.

You guys started this shit. Don't start crying now when Trump plays your game.

I get that's what the MAGA lawyers came up with after huddling for a couple of days, but if you're being honest, you know the Supreme Court's unanimous ruling wasn't 'give it your best shot.'

First of all I didn't start anything. I had nothing to do with Hunter Biden's laptop. I also said he should be prosecuted if there was any 'there' there. I didn't really care what happened to Hunter Biden.

That said, I'm glad that we've landed on a spot where you've admitted that the Trump administration is playing loose with definitions and defying court orders. After all, based on what you posted here, isn't that "Trump playing the game?"
