The impression I get is that Igor played for or coached with Coach Knows. Them and Rick are all trying to get into the business of being insiders. That's how I've perceived it, but I don't have any idea if that's right. I know Igor said he's from Illinois and played HS ball in Illinois. I think he played small school ball somewhere. Coach Knows is based out of Chicago, but that's all I know about him. Don't know anything about Rick. But they're all working together so think of the three of them as one newsroom so to speak.

I like seeing hot takes, and rumors and stuff... I followed each of them. Like you, its all entertainment and something interesting to think about...for me. Naturally though...if all 3 of them thought Conwell coming to IU was likely... it means more if they're independent of each other.

Coach Knows says Willard to Villanova on six year deal.

Not sure that’s a great move with only two conferences stable at present- but Willard coached in Big East previously. NIL funds are likely a bit fewer with no D-1 football. But they’ve won NCAA championship more recently than Maryland. Then again Maryland beat us for their title in 2002- so God Speed Coach Willard!

Yeah, I saw all that and I was disappointed. Those guys are a little on the immature side, especially Coach. He said he thought people were betting on his information and he was receiving threats, etc.

That said, his information seems to be good. Remember, they did say Dent was going to UCLA and Willard to Villanova days before anybody else. And they've been good on calling visits as well.

I'm sticking with them for now. Just have to put up with the immaturity here and there. Igor seems a lot better in that regard, though, he's not immune.

I was listening to ITH's interview of Tony Adragna on what characteristics DeVries will look for in a big. Based on Adragna's comments, it really sounds like Flory would be a good fit for DeVries's scheme. According to Adragna, DeVries is looking for a big that has these characteristics: good screener, operate in dribble-handoffs, catch lobs, doesn't need the ball in their hands or high usage, guard multiple positions, make shots around the room, protect the rim, and create for other people.
