FINAL predictions

Had Houston in my bracket, if they win I win, going with the Cougars. They are just tougher than everyone else, plus they have the right mix to win it all, inside game Roberts, guards Cryar, Uzan, dead-eye 3P shooters, Cryar 42.7, Sharp 41.5, Uzan 44.0, role players Tugler, Arceneaux, deep bench and the best defense in D1.

If I’m Sampson, I leave Clayton alone, single coverage, and lock everyone else down, much like they did with Duke. The defense wears down their opponents which shows up in the last minutes just like Ohio State and Michigan’s fb lines do in the 4th quarter. It’s why Flagg’s last second shot barely caught the front of the rim.

yeah I'm picking Houston but wouldn't bet a dollar on that pick. Will be offense vs defense on full display tonight.
 
78-72 with the fighting Sampsons on top. I had these two teams in the final with Houston coming out on top. Should be a fun game to watch regardless.

I picked Florida vs Houston as well with Florida winning it 75-67. I believe Houston will make Florida slow and grind it tonight and UF pg is off tonight. Plus Sampson > Golden tonight. Florida might be the better team, but Houston wins I believe.
 
My one and only bracket, in the 90th percentile at ESPN, had UH beating UF in the finals, so I'll stay with that. 75-73.
 
Had Florida-Houston in the final with FLA winning and a total score of 140...so I'll say Gators 74 - Houston 66. Also, my pre-championship game rank of 32,604 is my best ever.

We'll see. I see nothing that makes me believe that. Houston was outplayed for 85% of the game Saturday and it took a monumental meltdown by Duke for them to win. Plus, they struggled vs Purdue. Florida has impressed me throughout the year and has looked more well-rounded and solid. Yes, the Houston team of the last 5 minutes was impressive, but the prior 35? Not so much.

This is the year where your bracket does well if you just picked the favorites. Makes for a boring first two weekends, but the Final Four has been great. And it should be a great final as both teams are tough and resilient.

I’m picking Houston (or at least pulling for them). I just think they are the toughest team in the tourney and even for all of Sampson’s past indiscretions I think he’s a pretty good guy and it’d be cool to see him get his 800th victory tonight.

I also believe if KS can win the title tonight, he will retire next week.
 
I also had the Gators and Cougars making the final in my bracket with Florida cutting down the nets. Gators 76 Cougars 70.

Houston 65-62. Only pulling for them as they aren't in the SEC. I never liked Sampson but don't really care what he did at IU several coaches ago. He was hired on probation and just did what he was on probation for. That's on IU.

I’m going with Florida also. If Duke hadn’t choked Houston wouldn’t be there. Duke controlled that game for 35 minutes. Don’t think Florida will choke like that.
 
Who knows ?
Lot's of games Houston shoots sideways....Imo..They loose 8 out of 10 times to Duke.
If it's a grinder they can win again though.
I'm pulling for the Gators half heartedly.
 
It's a toss up..... depends on how many Travels, Palm's, EuroSteps, Moving Screens and Charges the Refs allow each Team to have during the game????

The team that allowed to do all of the things listed above.... more than their opponent.... will be the winner tonight.

Does Vegas have odds on how many minutes of video reviews are doing to take place during the game???
That's another thing that has gotten out of hand!!!!!!!

I don't think Florida has any discipline to play against good defensive teams. Their best chance is to not miss much.

I picked Houston to win it all on my bracket and I'm not changing now.
 
I’m just happy to have an stress-free viewing experience because I don’t care who wins.
 
Florida is killing Houston with their bigs running the court.

That’s good coaching. Houston hits the offensive glass so hard, their bigs don’t get back on time.
