Fetterman being Fetterman

He's interesting and much more likeable than most Democrats in the Senate. He may have some significant mental issues though (I got by the pay wall by using immersive reader on the browser and reader mode on the iPhone) - this is long but an easy read:

He might have mental health issues.

You can still be great and have mental health issues (see Abraham Lincoln).

True, but it's apparently very concerning for his doctors, wife, staff, and others in the Senate.
lmao Oh, NOW they're all worried about him. They weren't worried about him running for Senate when he couldn't form a sentence. But NOW that he's making sense, they're all concerned.

Too. Damn. Funny.

If you read the articles, you'd see that it started after he was elected. The problem before the election was that he had a stroke. The stroke could have led to some of his mental health problems though.

Riiiii-iiiight.

Stroke, no problem. Holding conservative views, mental health problems. Got it.

Who said the stroke was no problem? The GOP ran a poor candidate.
No one except Republicans said a stroke was a problem. That's the entire point. His supporters then didn't worry about his stroke affecting his ability to be a Senator.

But now..... 'mental problems'...... huh.

Have you never heard of politics? The dude has a couple conservative positions on issues, like his strong support of Israel, but he’s still mostly voting in lockstep with Democrats. For example, he voted against nominees like Hegseth, making those 100 percent by Democrats. He’s still a Democrat, just not a “squad” Democrat.

Apropos of nothing…

Comedian Arte Johnson’s father’s name was Abraham Lincoln.

Actor/Comedian Albert Brooks’s real name is Albert Einstein. His brother Bob Einstein was better known by his alter ego Super Dave Osborne.

Yeah, OK.....

You think Israel is not a dividing issue for Democrats? Really?

Wow! I love both Albert Brooks and Bob Einstein. Never knew they were brothers

Didn’t say it wasn’t. Neither Democrats nor Republicans agree on every issue. They shouldn’t. Why are you doing the two step boogie?

A kid i went to middle school with had the name Richard Head (Dick Head). A guy that works in my division has the name Jefferson Davis. I used to go to the Iron Pit gym in Bloomington and there was a member there whose name was Wayne Newton.

Ha. I used to go to the iron pit gym. Back then they had a board for people who benched over 500lbs to sign. Never seen that anywhere else

I don’t know much about the lingering symptoms of a stroke, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on lithium which could explain why he needs periodic blood checks for drug toxicity. If he’s on lithium that would point towards a bipolar I or II diagnosis. He seems a bit manic or hypomanic and impulsive. I could be and hope I’m wrong. There’s less of a stigma for people with just depression. Bipolar on the other hand could have political consequences. I hope my hypothesis is wrong.

Reminds me of the old Soviet Union, when disagreeing with the government could get you thrown into an insane asylum because you had to have had 'mental disorders' to disagree with the Party.
