There are so many great ones out there and I feel like it's hard to stumble on to new ones. Who are some of your favorites, especially ones who aren't as well known?

I found Tom Segura many years ago when he was still relatively new and he's still a favorite. Another guy I really like, and I think he's lesser known, even though he's getting specials and stuff now is Nate Bargatze. He reminds me of a blend of Segura and Jim Gaffigan, because of the way he uses observations and he also doesn't cuss too much, like Gaffigan. So, who makes you laugh?

There are the comedy legends and that list is too long to mention, but sticking with guys who have been relevant the last decade or two I agree on Segura. Bill Burr is probably my favorite, his material and his personality is more relatable with me. Ron White is great. Frankie Boyle (Scottish comedian) has been hilarious for 2 plus decades but doesn't get alot of play here stateside. Anthony Jeselnik, Dave Attell and Sebastian Maniscalco are superb.

Bill's bit about growing up and not wanting to be called a,"fag" was one of the funniest things I had heard. His bit about Arnold Schwartzeneggar was great. When you brought up Ron White it got me thinking that the whole Blue Collar Comedy Tour was a great experiences. Dave Chappelle did a bit about his white friend Chip. Roflol

I too would recommend Nate Bargatze! Saw him live in Evansville and laughed till I cried. Never was a dull moment or pause. Comedy, we as Midwesterners (He’s from Nashville.) can really relate to.

I like the comedians already mentioned and add a few more. Nick Thune and Zach Galifianakis’ Netflix stand up from 2007 is one of my favs ( clip below).

Bill Burr Philly rant at be the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.

Hearing the context/lead-up makes it even more hilarious

No one has mentioned John Mulaney yet? Personally, he is the best stand up as of right now.

I'm not really up to speed on comedians these days, or really ever. I rather like Mulaney, though I imagine that most would find him a little tame. Most probably like their comedy a bit more edgy.

I don't really listen to a lot of standup, but in the past I've liked, Bill Burr, Louis CK, Anthony Jeselnik, and yeah, John Mulaney.

Bill Burr on Conan was always good for a laugh.

Can’t stand him for some reason. He reminds me of someone who performs for retirement communities in Florida. I know he’s more than that but just not for me.

I struggle with him too. Wife loves him though, so I watch.
