Fade the Big East

You mean like the PAC 12 and, up until last year, the Big 12?
PAC 12 definitely. Big 12 has been solid. Better than the Big Ten. Obviously the ACC and now the SEC are premier basketball conferences. Those two and the Big 12 are supreme. Big Ten and PAC 12 well behind.

Stop it.

ACC is still the king of college basketball with the B10 behind it. Don't let Kentucky's success speak for the entirety of the SEC. Big 12 is a bigger threat to the B10 than the SEC.

Big Ten hasn’t won a title in 20 years. That’s an embarrassment. The Big 12 is loaded now. Kansas, Baylor, OK, Tex, TT, etc. The SEC has 4 top 15 teams. You’re living in 1986.

Since 2000 (20 tournaments):

Big Ten has sent a representative to 13 different Final Fours, most of any conference in the country followed by

ACC: 12
Big East: 11
SEC: 9
Big 12: 9

Big Ten has had multiple members in the same final four 4 different times, only the ACC has more. Only the ACC has more dominant teams than Big Ten. Kansas and Kentucky don't define a conference. The old Big East was the best conference until it disbanded, since then it has been the ACC and the B10 who consistently send teams the furthest. It's not even an argument.

You might want to add Ohio State to that fade list. Loss at Maryland then lose to Nebraska at home tonight. . Ouch.
I couldn't be more unimpressed with OSU than when IU beat them Liddell was very bad as well. Look like a promising IU team that folds down the stretch.

You’re letting your bias cloud your judgment. Everyone here has criticized Calipari for “only” winning one title and here you are praising an entire conference for winning one title in 30 years. 1 out of 30. Stop this.

Calipari winning one title with the amount of talent he has is a disappointment, but make no mistake, there's only one or two programs since he's been at Kentucky that have consistently advanced further. Almost the entirety of the SEC's postseason success the last 20 years is attributed to Kentucky, sans a great run 15 years ago by Florida that resulted in back to back titles. One school does not define a conference.

wait? ACC still the kings? Has anyone watched the abysmal ACC games this year??
The ACC is pitiful this year. It doesn't negate what they've done the last 20 years. Thought I had to responded to the most dense post on this thread a second ago but perhaps not.

You cheer hard against a guy that wasn’t encouraged to stay around for his last year?
I cheer hard against a guy that thinks he won the Natty after a shitty hook shot on Durr. Stomping around like he has some sort of game.

Then got the ball launched off his dome. Best karma I’ve ever seen. I loved it!!!

Not hard to understand him showboating a bit after being shown the door. A kid you’d never have to worry about getting in trouble, props up the team GPA, and at worse is a good practice player. But you do you.

A bit?? That was worse than TJD on any dunk all year. He is not good at basketball, and thinks he is. Definition of not knowing your role.

He was creaned and can’t blame him for having some emotion around that. I find his display far less disrespectful to the program than what the 5 players did to earn a suspension that may have wrecked the season.

yes I care what you think about me.... I'll cry to my mama once I get done not caring.

Florida has been a top 5 program in CBB the past 15 years. They’ve been to at least the Elite 8 seven different times in 15 years. SEVEN. That’s 5 times since those titles.

Auburn was in the Final Four a couple years ago and arguably the best team this year. South Carolina in it a couple years before. Tennessee, Alabama, and Arkansas are strong. Then of course you have UK who is better than the top 5 Big Ten teams combined. Your bias is blinding.
