I was never a fan of his act but I did find myself pulling for him after he was humbled and racing for VCARB.
His career was a case in confidence. He raced on bravado but once Lando started beating him he cratered and never recovered
Interesting that a GM nameplate that focused on going all EV has the cash to run in an ICE series.
Who wouldn't want to be Bernie. Billionaire, huge collection of Ferraris, and fathering a kid at age 90. And the dude is still living the life at age 94.
So Liam got Checo's seat. Good luck to him, from what I try to understand on driving styles, Liam is pretty different from Max, so could be tough for him in a car made for Max (sound familiar?). But what do I know.
Lawson is talented but yeah I assume Max is going to eat him alive just like he’s done to every other teammate. I will say that to date Lawson hasn’t backed down to other, more experienced, drivers, but being opposite Max is a different ballgame.

Looks like it will be McLaren’s year again. Hopefully Lando bottles it often enough that Oscar comes out on top

I’m not sure Max can battle the two McLarens by himself all season and win the WDC. Only thing that helps him is Lando and Oscar are both #1’s that take points off each other and probably annoy one another.

Yuki's deal is up end of this year and it sounds like Red Bull wasn't planning on keeping him. That 2nd RBR seat has ended a lot of drivers, and I wonder if Yuki may have been better off staying in Racing Bulls as he markets himself for his next job.
But, he's going for it, good luck to him and it's pretty cool he starts his RBR drive at Suzuka.

You can't turn it down, that's for sure. But yeah it's a career ender. Not unlike the IU coaching job. But no way he does worse than Lawson.
