After allowing Maryland to control most of the game Indiana rallied late and had the lead with less than :30 seconds to play, but a defensive lapse allowed the Terps a successful 3-pt shot to take the lead. Then a very confused IUBB staff and players were not able devise a clean look for a potential game-winning, last-second shot allowing Maryland escape with a win as the Hoosiers could only watch another Q1 opportunity slip away.
