Same with my system, might never get my money back, but living out in the country, I have a good emergency system, I use it daily and it helps lower electric costs. But for a main system, to many hurtles, to much cost to be effective for the population to count on, the technology may come but it is nowhere near ready for mass usage. Batteries have a long way to go to make it work! Most people don't have the funds to use for the investment. But it sure can make a lot of people poor, reality is beginning to show its ugly face!

When you have a million employees plus and handle trillions of dollars per year and can’t account for trillions of dollars of prior expenditures then it is certain that you will have corruption, some maybe technically legal (revolving door with defense contractors and lobby groups as an example) and some illegal.

A Sunday morning story to get you up to speed - Before I-465 around Indy was totally completed in 1970, traffic wasn't as busy on it as it is today. It makes little sense to me in its current (electrical) condition.

I know you no longer partake but ethanol production is a noble pursuit. If you ever tried to make shine you know not as easy as it looks. I had a leak between the coil annd the vat and it screwed up the entire process. Very disappointing.
IIRC, Kentucky has to import 10-20% of the corn they use to produce bourbons from our state of Indiana. I don't want to threaten that production with solar panels.

I did put American made panels on my roof for my solar system, so Yep "I AM AN AMERICAN"! I doubt it very much if I ever get my money back from my solar system and that is with the GOVERNMENT solar rebates! It's not CHEAP! The nice thing about coal, gas and nuclear is they can be used 24 hours a day, unlike solar that works maybe 40% during a 24 hour period in the winter and maybe 60% summer, IF the sun SHINES! You don't have solar do you, I DO, I can tell by your WOKE response!
