Solar and wind is just a way for politicians to launder money!

Can we all agree that nuclear is the best? Replace every coal fired power plant with a nuclear power plant and we are golden.

The first demonstration Gen IV nuclear generating facility has been permitted at Oak Ridge so some progress. The Chinese are building both nuclear and coal fired plants at an unbelievable pace.

I went through the calculations a few times for rooftop installation where we used to live including cloudiness and temperature specific to the location and couldn’t make it work. Including subsidies available at that time I kept coming up with 20 year payout for a solar installation with useful life of around 20 years. It made no economic sense at that time. Certainly not opposed to solar but it just made no economic sense for me at that location.

Same with my system, might never get my money back, but living out in the country, I have a good emergency system, I use it daily and it helps lower electric costs. But for a main system, to many hurtles, to much cost to be effective for the population to count on, the technology may come but it is nowhere near ready for mass usage. Batteries have a long way to go to make it work! Most people don't have the funds to use for the investment. But it sure can make a lot of people poor, reality is beginning to show its ugly face!

When you have a million employees plus and handle trillions of dollars per year and can’t account for trillions of dollars of prior expenditures then it is certain that you will have corruption, some maybe technically legal (revolving door with defense contractors and lobby groups as an example) and some illegal.
