Does Woodson even care?

The government will quit supporting solar farms in 2025.
I don’t think they intend to ban sunshine. Sure a few very precious people suffer from heat stroke each year that could be saved by banning sunshine but banning will drive up electricity costs for the rest of us. Maybe it is necessary-the experts will know better.

I didn’t say ban sunshine, I said the government subsidies for Solar and Wind will be discontinued in 2025. Drill baby Drill!

They should, look at Arizonia, the solar capital of America, the epic start of the "New Green Deal", their electricity prices have more than Quadrupled! First they found out the sun does not shine 24 hours a day(really), then they found out to store that power they needed Gigabytes of batteries that are super expensive! Plus at the same time they where buying Solar Panels from our main adversary from aboard! Hence the people can't afford to keep their homes cool in a climate where it is really HOT! I remember a couple Presidents ago when a certain President made the statement: " Americans electric rates will necessarlly have to SKYROCKET". Really he did! Look at California, another state of the "brain dead", they force you to buy electric cars, then in the summer when electric usage goes up, they tell you not to charge them because the curve of usage vs the curve of made power has been inverted by those in charge! Guess what our rates are doing in Indiana!

My question going into 2025 is;

will the IU fan base turn toxic on MW?

I’ve been through several coaching changes on this forum and while there has been an uptick in insults (and even some petty name calling) towards him, it’s clear the sharks don’t taste blood in the water yet. In past firings things have always gotten to the point where the sunshine pumpers become some of the harshest critics. Perhaps apathy is just now too great, and the expectations bar is just too low?

My question is, just how many tournaments does IU have to miss? UK will make the tournament in Pope’s first year with his own players!

A few years ago in Spain someone noticed that the per kilowatt hour government subsidy was being paid to solar farms including substantial energy production at night. The investigation found that the government subsidies were so good that solar farm operators were leasing diesel fired generators and paying for fuel and producing generators into the grid night and day and still making a nice profit.

We've all seen this movie before. It's hard to get too excited. We know how this season is going to go, and based on past experience, we have no particular reason to believe that a change will be coming or be for the better. If and when IU gives fans something to care about again, the interest level will start to rise. That's all it takes, again look at football. Went from half empty stadiums to sold out in one season, just because the fans were given something worth watching.

My parents neighbors house in arizona isn't selling because they have solar panels and nobody want them. People told her they would make an offer only if she got them removed. And it's on a golf course.

I have no idea about solar on houses, but utility scale solar projects are going to be coming to the midwest though out Trumps term. solar on houses and 2000 acre utility scale solar projects have different functions.

Agree. That podcast is a joke. Woody isn't cutting it but those guys just have an ax to grind and no one know if half of what they said is true.
And no one knows if half of what they AINT true.

Works both ways.

I'd ask this...From what you have seen the past 3+ years....what do you more plausible: True or not true?

I bet a guy like Painter was working 70 hours a week his first few years on the job. Woodson is lucky to put in 40 a week. Nba guys rarely if ever succeed when they try and coach college
But he is paid like a first rate coach which is mind blowing for the effort he gives.

painter slept in his car to nab moore, hummell, JJ and the kid who went to ND, we were told back then

Green energy is a scam!!!

Nope, not a scam. I call it renewable energy, not green. Not a tree hugger. I did what Billy Bob did for 10+ years. I was an oil and gas landman. I searched for jobs on landman.net. We need all of it. Solar is a great way to boost the grid. Coal is going away, need to replace it. Need a lot more than solar. We need energy anyway possible.

I hope we see a 5 or 6 game losing streak in January. I really want it. Broken record here.
Woodson was a major factor to IU's success in mid 70's and a favorite player next to Randy Wittman. I really hate it that he will be remembered for his poor performance as a coach. Had my doubts when he was hired and excepted him. Just cannot pull against my alma mater for any reason. Go Hoosiers!
