Not to hijack your thread but bc you’re a birds fan and same vein the AB products at Busch today will be labeled American beer. Not domestic. AB also cut its pridefest sponsorship after 30 years. Going hard the other direction. Gay bars pulling AB products here

From a marketing sense, that first part is good. They are already stylistically called "American light lagers" but for some reason they got stuck with "domestic" in most others areas. From restaurant menus to IRI/Nielsen data. "Domestic" isn't really a type of beer
Should it be considered a hate crime?

I have a friend whose dad got caught drinking a bud while working at Miller. They fired him. AB got wind of the story. Hired him and he ended climbing the ladder way up at AB

Zimply different! Actually ahead of its time considering how big White Claw and Truly have gotten. But know I don't drink that. Banquet, Two Hearted and Whiskey are my standard rotation.

Yeah, I’d like to be able to say that I gave up AB InBev products because of their advertising.
I haven’t drank an AB beer of my own volition in years. I have drank them, but only under some level of silent protest having nothing to do with their marketing.
I will still drink some other non-AB products from the company. But I don’t drink much beer these days.
I’ve become that faux sophisticate I’ve always mocked: a guy who loves fine wine and Scotch or Japanese whiskies. And maybe the occasional gin or tequila/mezcal. But rarely beer or vodka like all the déclassé knuckle-draggers I hang around.
Some things are not nuanced enough to require nuanced explanation.
