Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s lawyers served notice to a Trump attorney Thursday for Trump to submit a sample March 2 in Washington for “analysis and comparison against unidentified male DNA present on the dress.”

Carroll filed a defamation suit against Trump in November after the president denied her allegation. Her lawyer, Roberta Kaplan, then had the black wool coat-style dress tested. A lab report with the legal notice says DNA found on the sleeves was a mix of at least four contributors, at least one of them male.

Several other people were tested and eliminated as possible contributors to the mix, according to the lab report, which was obtained by The Associated Press. Their names are redacted.

While the notice is a demand, such demands often spur court fights requiring a judge to weigh in on whether they will be enforced.​

This is said to have happened in the mid-90's, when Trump was about 50.

He got less rapey when he was about 60 and even less rapey when he was about 70.

I think there may be a pattern that has nothing to do with a change in his character.

Dang E. Jean said she wasn't sure if Trump actually penetrated her or not...may have to start calling him Quick Draw.

Id bet everything I own that Trump had many rapey encounters. Just as Bill likely did.

Bill did it, as POTUS, with an intern..... even as consensual as it was ... that's next level scandal and would obviously be called fairly serious termination level offense in any HR office of a large firm.

What's hilarious is people that defend one or the other..... and flip their arguments depending upon their dumb political leanings.

These two are brothers from a different mother, in many ways.

In reality, though, people don't really do that. Only Republicans do that (broadly speaking, of course; you're mileage may vary in terms of individuals). This brings to mind something I posted two years ago: Unlike Trump, Clinton received very low ratings in terms of morality from Democrats. Democrats overwhelmingly approved of his job performance, but also overwhelmingly disapproved of his personal life (being 1999, we presume this is primarily sex on people's minds). Today, Republicans tend to approve of Trump in all aspects.

Granted we're talking about two Presidents twenty years apart, but the parties are not mirror images of each other in this respect.

Republicans are much more loyal. You don't need a PhD in PolySci to know that. That's been a common theme for all of post modern American politics.

It's why Republicans win elections and Dems run around corralling chickens.

Not sure about the past but this incarnation of Republicans is pure chicken. Trump did all the corralling.

Are you trying to equate President Trump's sexual encounter with E. Jean Carroll with President Clinton's sexual encounter with Monica Lewinsky? One would get you fired. The other would get you sent to prison. Both un-Presidential, but nowhere near equal.
 
Remember what we have learned from Republicans. He cannot be charged with a crime. He can bribe foreigners to affect our elections, as Dershowitz says, “if hie believes it’s best for the country’. He’s free to be just what he wants to be; Vladimir Putin.

He probably just thought it was best for her to be raped. As Glenn Quagmire says, “Rape it forward.”

Oh come on you know the routine. It shifts depending on the evidence. Right now he’s never heard of her. If it came back that’s what he’d say. And his supporters would buy it. Just like the perfect phone call. It would be troubling if there is a quid pro quo, but there wasn’t. Oh there was a quid pro quo? Oh hell with it, he can do whatever he wants. It’s what the cowardly GOP just told him.

His base is solid as a tree stump. Problem is, the peripheral support is ever-crumbling away. That's what happened in 2018 and is continuing to date. Concrete evidence would hit home to some like nothing else.
