Agree. Much better defensive play, though the first 5-7 mins of the second half tonight was straight garbage D. We can’t win games without playing very good defense. It leads to a much better offense, where we stagnate otherwise. It gets us more transition 3’s that we don’t overthink so we hit them at a higher clip.

Puff got an easy 3 look there at the end, wasnt that good of defense! MM was getting abused defensively all night once again also! Was it that IU played great defense at the start or that Pedo state just was cold going 1-13 or whatever it was missing alot of layups? Refs did help them out with the foul differentials! I am not convinced though that it was all great defensive possessions by IU! They had a few good ones and the ball bounced their way a little, but defense still needs to improve especially going against Chinese Curry tonight!

Guess you are one that doesn't believe good defense causes poor shooting. They won their 5th straight, beating a team they lost twice to (that weren't close), and without the heart of the team down the stretch and you still can only look for negatives. True fans vs no so true fans on display.
