That's the title of an article by a man who has investigated many conspiracy theories and found most are false and a handful are real. The conspiracy theorists here should read it - though, of course, they believe what they believe is real so they're not a conspiracy theorist. ;) So maybe everyone should read it and get some idea how conspiracy theories are formed and spread and maybe, just maybe, recognize that some of what they believe may not actually be true:

Obsession stems from the fact that we have a government that lies to us…….. a lot.

No need to make it more complex than that.
You didn't read it. Not enough time has elapsed for you to do so. You are ignorant as usual. I believe you are willfully ignorant because for some strange unsupported reason you think you have knowledge about every subject. It's weird.

Offering my opinion. I’ve seen plenty of egg heads try diagnose the psychology behind conspiratorial thinking, reckon this is more of the same.

Consider this my permission for the rest of TheHoosier.commit pass on the above article. Enjoy your Friday.

No one on the WC thinks he/she needs your permission for anything.

I visited the Texas Book Depository Museum in 2020. The original area occupied by Oswald was still walled off with plexiglas because it remains a crime scene.

Nonetheless, visitors could look out the adjacent windows closeby, and I'll say those windows are really, really close to the traffic lane JFK's limousine was traveling in only about 50-60 feet directly below. It is not at all implausible that an experienced guy could accurately fire off 3-4 shots and hit a target twice at that short distance. It is really really close.

If there were actual physical evidence of shots coming from somewhere else, I would consider it. But so far there hasn't been any. Speculation about the assassination being arranged by the Mafia or Cubans, even if true, doesn't disprove that Oswald was the triggerman, based on his known presence in the building, palm print on the rifle etc.

There are so many legitimate controversies to resolve. It's disappointing so many people waste time on speculative theories.

Suspicion does not prove anything. It is just the first step.
“Suspicion” is not the word I would use. More so a general apathy towards anything told or portrayed to me by a government entity.

The official story is still that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. When bold face lies can shamelessly be told like that by the Federal Government, how is it possible to take much of anything at face value?

When Government officials will knowingly lie to you about the effectiveness of a surgical mask and a vaccine during what some people would classify as a “pandemic”.

After that, I just don’t really care. Maybe they’re telling the truth, I’m open to anyone who has a reason they may not be. Just got to live your life knowing that federal government actions and narratives should never be taken at face value.

Bald-faced but the rest. Like a razor

I'll try to read it, but when I see language tortured like this:

although those thought to be in charge has changed over time

It's hard to keep going.

You believe a conspiracy theory which is entirely unsupported by any evidence. It was covered in the article you didn’t read. You’re a doofus..
So the idea that the guards doing checks fell asleep, surveillance cameras malfunctioned and his cellmate was rotated out all coincided within hours is an unfortunate coincidence in your mind?

Get serious and stop being so easy to lie to.

You are an easily duped doofus. I’m not kidding, you’re stupid in addition to being ignorant.
