In 2024 Curt Cignetti left a mark that reverberated throughout the world of college football - he guided an inherited 3-9 Indiana Hoosier football program and flipped the script, leading the Hoosiers to an 11-1 regular season mark and a very unlikely spot in the college football playoffs. What was the program with the most losses in all of Division 1 CFB is now a player in the game. And this was not flash in the pan, one-hit wonder. The Hoosiers had a prolific offense the led the nation in many categories and was in the top 20 of virtually every category. And it was not just the offense. Defensive Coordinator Bryant Haines crafted one of the best overall defenses in the country, including on being #1 against the run.

I'm with you..., but I worry about Cignetti, the entire staff, and the Team as a whole, losing the edge they had last Fall and resting on their laurels just enough to drop a couple of winnable games...

I guess I'm that means I'm going to have to write my anniversary version of "I have my doubts about" our ___________ (fill in the blank)..., post to get everyone upset and ticked off and out to prove or re-prove something... 😉

Give me a couple days to think about how far I actually want to go this time and I'll put something up that should get the desired response...🤣

The thing I like is that this staff doesn't seem like a one hit group. But coaches that can do it every year even if it isn't 11-2 every year. The nation and B1G better get used to IU being so good in football.
