Well, I like UD because I live here in the Dayton area and support my local teams, but it's hardly a great class. They don't have a single player signed for next year that is ranked anywhere close to any of the IU recruits. Two of them are 0 star players. They shouldn't technically, but wouldn't that be in the back of your mind as someone deciding whether we're more deserving than a 25+ win team from a small conference, especially given our inconsistency. Normally, you'd think they say, well it's IU and they're young and coming on, but we're not that. That argument is not there if we expect to limp in to consideration
Probably so, the most glaring difference to me between what Dayton's offense above is and ours is movement without the ball, anticipation, and timely passing. If you play that way, you don't need great shooters, but we don't play that way and we don't have great shooters. Double whammy

I don’t think last year’s collapse will be held against IU. The more concerning issue to me is our lack of being competitive against Big Ten teams on the road, sans Nebraska. We will find out soon enough.

You shouldn't double down on stupid. I linked their incoming class, which you called a "great class coming in." Two of them aren't ranked at all (0 stars) and one is a 3 star who doesn't come close to ranking as highly as any of IU's incoming players. Why do you rank them as "great?" I like UD and I hope UD does well, but you can't just vomit words on your keyboard and think they have any relationship to the real world because you want them too.
