Gorski hit a home run in his first at bat after returning from injury. After Bunnell struck out, two batters walked, but Fineman hit into a DP.

Great to have Gorski back, but Fineman really needs to step up. This is his final chance to get drafted, and this start is definitely not the way to do that.

Not the best of innings for frosh Alex Franklin who had three walks in the inning and had to get another strikeout on a 3-2 count with two outs and the bases loaded to prevent the lead run from scoring. The first run for Cincy was scored on a walk, SB, and a single.

Cal Krueger replaced Franklin in the T3rd. Franklin was already up to 53 pitches going into this inning.

Cincy is changing pitchers in the 3rd. IU has a threat going with runners on 1st and 3rd with one out.

IU breaks things open in the 3rd after Fineman doubled in two runs, and then Barr hit a two-run homer.

Krueger is pitching well. So far, he has three straight shutout innings and just gave up one hit (a double.)

Beauchamp has taken over for Krueger in the 6th.

Beauchamp got out of a mini-jam in the 6th. After getting the leadoff hitter, he committed an error putting a runner on, and then walked a batter, but he got two straight GOs to end the top of the inning.

Beauchamp escaped another jam leaving runners on 2nd and 3rd in the 7th.

In a shaky 9th inning, IU had an error, walk, passed ball, and a wild pitch, but Grant Sloan got three straight Ks to end it, leaving two runners on.
