Carsen Edwards signs with agent

Hiring an agent doesn't mean he won't return due to a new rule...but I doubt he returns to Purdue...good luck him and congrats...

Are we turning into little brother now? Acting like Purdue hasn’t accomplished anything over the last three years is ridiculous.

Meanwhile, back in Bloomington, we haven’t been to the NCAA tournament since Carsen Edwards stepped foot in West Lafayette. Yea us!
Doesn't matter.
5-0
Every team but 1 ends the season a loser.
No participation trophies.

Well shit, glad I can talk shit to all those Purdue fans since I was 2 years old the last time we won a national title. You old people sound desperate pounding your chest about something that happened 32, 38, 43, 66, and 79 years ago.
We pound our chest for winning the Revolutionary War, WWI, WWII, Desert Storm. It doesn't matter how many years ago. Winning a little battle means nothing if you lose the war. There is only one winner. Everyone else is a loser. Nobody remembers who finished 2nd.

I saw this movie. Parts of it were funny.

As opposed to something that has NEVER happened for PU? Yes, you see, the reason winning a national title or championship is so great is because it can never be taken away.....unless there were violations of course. So yes, anyone can pound their chest at 5 titles especially when talking to our little brother who has....well....none.

I seem to remember that we haven't made the tourney in forever. And I know who did, so there's that.

He's the most talented Purdue player since Big Dog, who also took the Boliers to the Regional Final. Purdue is really going to miss his play-making next year.

Let's see what Nojel Eastern does now. From reading his mother's posts on the Purdue site, sure sounds like is going to at least test the NBA waters.

Carsen will be deeply missed no doubt, but losing Swanigan and Haas and V Edwards etc and almost 5,000 career points after 2018 hurt too. I think Carsen will make a career of it in the NBA, a Purdue writer said it best with something along the lines of "Carsen may thrive even more when he needs a team more than the team needs him" meaning he will rein himself in a bit and not feel like the pressure of winning every game is on him. I feel good about next year too, still a very young team and the following year will basically have everyone back as well.

Makes me feel better as a Reds fan

Did you go to IU? My buddies, also graduates, couldn’t give two shits about titles won 40+ years ago.

I (similar to Purdue fans) have no idea what it feels like to win a national title. IMO, it sounds desperate and conciliatory bragging about something that happened so long ago simply because we have little to brag about this decade when it comes to Purdue.

I care about what I’ve actully experienced, what’s happening today with the program, and where we’re headed tomorrow. This stuff from the 40s is juvenile.

Lol really, in that case stop bragging about having the most B1G titles because that's not true in your lifetime. That is the most ridiculous thing you've said so far. Typically, when one has no arguement they decide to alter history to accommodate their own agenda. Just stick with the facts and if you want to pretend things that do exist suddenly dont exist....most rational humans choose not to live in your world.
