Can Sean Miller Survive College BB Corruption Trial

Stick a Fork in him, He's done.
I thought he was done last December when all of this came out about Ayton. They said back then he was paying Ayton and Alkins and yet he survived. It appears has multiple lives so I would not be so sure he is done.

I can’t believe people are this naive.
That is what I am saying. If he had a program who did not win sure they would fire him. But he has won at a good clip and has a top three recruiting class coming it. The school is not going to cut him loose.

Plus he just made the final four of a 2020 five star so obviously it has done nothing to his recruiting.

If the fire gets HOT enough they will dump him; if not, they will put him on some sort of "double secret probation."

He survives.
NCAA only punishes those who self-report.

Sampson did hardly anything compared to what's going on now. Ridiculous
His biggest problem was it was a second offense and he lied about it.

Nobody remembers he told Don Fischer that the team was doing very well academically. We found out later that many were failing.

Most schools would today drag their feet even if the coach was a big liar like Sampson. The schools know today the NCAA will get bored and nothing will happen.

If it was only phone calls, Sampson could have survived. I'm not sure how he would have explained or fixed the academic issues. The NCAA gave him a 5 year show cause for a reason.

The grades weren’t an issue until Sampson was fired. They weren’t an issue fall semester. But when kids found out Sampson was fired many stopped going to classes because they planned to transfer.

That’ll be the only final four he’s made. His high water mark in the tournament is the same as his little brother’s, despite year after year recruiting elite talent.
