All rational and reasonable comments. IU needs to get fouled and prep for Maryland. The good news is the Terps have a game in between so they don't have the same time to prepare.

However, compared to last year, IU has not been as good this year when coming off 5-6 days of preparation time.

It seems to me that people are sleeping on Maryland....they lost to VA and Seton Hall early and at Mackey by 2 points in a game they blew at the end..........all very understandable considering their youth.

I'm really concerned about them because they really match up well with their 2 bigs v. Morgan, Romeo & Smith. Morgan will be guarding a 7 footer, Smith a 6'10" McDonald's AA. Romeo will be trying to finish over and around those guys.

Their guards and the rest of the team are young but vert talented.

I do think they'll most likely lose tonight to Minnesota so that may help in terms of divided attention and weariness on their part. Also, Mark T. certainly is nothing special as a game coach.

I think if we win it will be a very close game..........I don't see us blowing them out, but they could blow us out if Morgan & Romeo get whistled out of the game again.

When he was talking about injuries he mentioned 'unusual injuries' and specifically referred to a "leg contusion"....I assume he was talking about Hunter but it wasn't clear.....he kinda let it slip out.
i didn't hear it but are you sure he wasn't talking about green's leg contusion?

i don't think anyone is sleeping on maryland. they will probably be favored, in fact

Coachv jr..I'm sorry I didn't catch it either ..But I was referencing Hunter's situation...I'm hearing it may be simular. .
Boy what a bummer that would be.

At what point do you make the call to redshirt Hunter? It does not sound like he is anywhere near ready to practice, let alone play. If he does eventually get cleared to practice that does not mean he is cleared to play. And how long would it take to get into game shape?

Just not sure what the benefit is to letting it go on all season like this - maybe someone has an idea why. Similar question for Race, at this point.
