Ft Wayne area via Washington Indiana
I've seen several of his games this year and the kid just knows how to play basketball. I was rooting for Barr Reeve today since I am from Washington and Furst must have had at least six blocks in the game. He basically took Barr Reeve's 6'8" center O'Neill out in the first half. Come on Caleb IU will be calling.

IU has already offered.

I'm a little worried about Ohio State in the battle to get Caleb. Perhaps I should be worried about Purdue as well since it's not that far from Ft Wayne.

Ft Wayne to Bloomington - 3 hours.
FW to WL - 2 hours.
Not much difference.

If you moved to Pennsylvania, How have watched several of his games!

I was there..
I've seen him multiple times..But O'Neill isnt like going against Cody or TJD for that matter..
But agree..1000 %..
He'll be ..Is a stud..
Want him in Btown..
Romeo is laid back..
Furst doesn't play angry..But is engaged more than Romeo..
Which Hooiser fans will appreciate..

Good save;)
Lol, you trying to catch me in a lie? You didn't move to Pennsylvania. You're camping outside of Ft Wayne in the woods aren't you? Aren't you?
My wife and I went to the Penn State/ Indiana game in December because we live somewhat near there. We had the best basketball seats I have ever had. We were about five rows up from where the IU team came onto the court.

I think Michigan gets Furst. Seems like a Wagner Teske type. Belein has developed big guys fantastically

If Archie can win consistently,he might have a great shot at kids like Lander and Furst. They won't go if IU continues to under perform.Next year,CAM needs to get this team on track to being consistent winners.

Romeo was a must get also. I have changed my stance that, NO player is a must get.
Many of the most hyped recruits to go to IU have been disappointing. Delray Brooks and Langford are two good examples. My all-time fave IU player - Calbert Cheaney - was the least heralded recruit in his class because of a leg injury in high school. That turned out pretty well.

Also....ft wayne to Lansing, columbus, or ann arbor are each under 3hrs.

Ft. Wayne-->E. Lansing = 2 hrs
Furst playing at Russel Byrd's HS puts MSU in a strong position as well.
Not saying he's going to end up a Spartan, but they'll be a strong contender for his commtmnt 'till he's ready to make that decision.

I don't think it's a proximity thing as much as it is a" daddy thing". With Caleb's dad playing for Illinois, his dad will be extra influential on the thought process, I imagine.

I just want to see IU win big games, I couldn't care less who they recruit. If IU starts winning and stops embarrassing themselves on the national stage, then the top recruits will come. Until then, they will continue to get beat out by the more successful programs.

Several that come to my mind are Richard Mandeville (talent deficient at college level, Lawrence Funderburke (head case), Glen Grunwald (knee injury), Mr. Basketball, Sherron Wilkerson (head case), Bracey Wright (slow feet). There are others.

Try to be objective and ask why any elite recruit would want to come play for Archie/IU right now. It’s hard to think of any with all the other options.

Damon Bailey was the biggest bust for me, considering the hype that grew from the attention he began to get while still in middle school.

Bailey all day . Compared to Langford at IU..
I'm all in on Frust...But they'll most likely be 20 -30 his equal..So if we get a kid from Florida that's just as good.. I'm all for it..
I don't care where they come from...
