He’s just boycotting life.*

*Hey! It’s just a joke. That makes it OK to say. 🙄

I’m betting stroke. Happened with my mom. Awful. You can see someone trying to speak and they just can’t. Her vocabulary was down to like 10 words. She could still understand for the most part. Unsure how bad it is for Mr Willis.

He quit acting a looooong time ago. He just quit making movies now…

My dad stroked out and couldn't do much more that spew word salad and gibberish immediately afterward. He settled down gained a small amount of function in the nine more months he lived, but never was able to properly verbalize beyond two or three words.

My mom had 3 hemorrhagic stokes spread out over 3.5 years. Two major surgeries.

First took peripheral vision, second one killed 95 percent of her vision. She wouldn't see a bus in front of her but my spot a popcorn kernel in the floor. We never fully understood what she could see. That stroke also cut down her mental capabilities and communication skills.

The last one all but killed her. At that point there was nothing left and she died in hospice in under 48 hours.

Really feel for Bruce and his family.

I loved him from Moonlighting and it is probably his greatest work a shame it's not out there for more to see. A bartender from Philly I think and landed that role. He and Mickey Rourke with the same haircut are almost twins back in the day. Loved him in Nobody's Fool with Paul Newman

Technically, he has aphasia - a specific condition resulting from damage to a certain portion of the brain. Now, it can be caused by a stroke. However, aphasia can also result from other things, including an infection.

Which, of course, means that there are lots of idiots on Twitter suggesting it resulted from a Covid vaccine. Nevermind the fact that Willis was apparently displaying symptoms for several years. https://www.latimes.com/entertainme...willis-aphasia-memory-loss-cognitive-disorder

You name the medical condition and I guarantee that there are asshats on Twitter claiming that someone's recent diagnosis must be because that person got the jab.

Oh for sure. Every instance of aphasia (hey, i'm up to three) i've seen so far has been stroke. May not be for him. It's one of those things where you ask yourself when the last time you saw him in a movie or in public, etc. At the oscars they had a cheesy Pulp Fiction send up and Uma thurman, Samuel L, and Travolta were there. I suspect had he been up to it he'd have been there as well.

Feel bad for the guy. Great actor. Would have like to see him age into Eastwood type roles, etc.
