You are cruelly requesting from him what he is wholly unable to provide. You would have a better chance if you asked him to walk on next season and average 30 ppg.

He fell out of favor with nearly everyone after year 3. Some people kept hope, but you can’t blame a fan for having hope.
I never liked Crean’s style of play....and that was year one, but I hoped it would produce consistent results with Crean recruits. I like Archie’s style of play and hope (because I’m a fan) that there will be positive results. I believe his style can be effective if he can implement it.
All this requires some sports or basketball knowledge which you have admitted that you lack. Continue posting and look like an idiot so you get the attention you crave so badly. People here that understand basketball will interact, continue your clown show and give everyone a chuckle at how stupid your posts are if that’s what you desire.

This is so dumb. He had 99% support until after year 5 (Syracuse). And he had probably 75% support until after year 7-8. Just stop it. This board and our fan base was a Tom Crean cult.

This reflects my experience while Crean was here. Despite his faster play and ignoring turnovers and lack of defensive focus, I wanted us to win. I spent most games pointing at the TV or sitting in Assembly Hall pointing out the correctable errors the team made over and over. I would wonder what they saw and discussed when they reviewed the game video. Once from the 10th row in section 2, I stood up and yelled at Hanner to move after he watched a guard drive from the top of the key and score on a layup for the 3rd straight time when he could have moved his 2 feet and stopped the drive. That Eastern Washington game removed the small sliver of hope that Crean's bad coaching style could be offset by talent. It is the only game I ever left early. I left when it was a one possession game.
Archie requires we play team defense and personal accountability and taking pride in defending your assignment. The defense has improved. I approve of Archie's coaching style and we will need to see players perform. I believe if he can get through the next two years, he can be very successful for many years, This year is critical.
This troll may be associated with the Purdue board, I am sad to say. They have just started posting over there, and have posted nothing but single line messages that have very little to do with anything sport or school related. It is just a cry for attention.

I was at the Eastern Washington game. I didn't leave early because I paid for two tickets but I was as frustrated as you were.
That was an amazing game to watch as far as just being entertained- I took my 3 kids - and they loved the upper-90 points close game nd great seats.
