Crean sucked. It appears Archie does too but I’ll never long for the days of that dipshit Crean on the sideline.
I liked the hire of Archie but after 2 1/2 years I’m still waiting for the first sign that his teams are well coached. For a former PG as a head coach, how could u get guard play as horrific as what we have? I like Phin but if he can’t stay healthy long enough to shake the rust off then he can’t be the long term solution.

Great recruiter, but Thad couldn’t even win enough at a football school to keep his job, so what makes you think he can here?
No crean but Archie clearly has shown no ability to get this program moving in the right direction. Going to be a long year.

I hated Crean's style of basketball from the start. Didn't take care of the ball or play defense worth a sh!t.
I'm still all in on Archie because I know he can coach but if he doesn't work out after next year I'd be good with Matta. If he's gotten his health back.

Crean acted like he was godly, let kids get hammered drunk and constantly get arrested. In the real world, he is just as sleazy as Rick. He also cheated, just sucked at it and got Hanner instead of Harrell.
I think he underachieved every year he was at IU too - even his first three years.
