After little consideration The Dream Team has announced that it will endorse Donald John Trump for president. Now that's a band of outlaws. Kick out the goose steppers and mix things up. Let this collection of crazy fcks have a shot. shine a light on censorship, reduce overreach, audit these big agencies and bust up the inertia that plagues so many of htem. we'll have countless entertaining press moments to boot. hopefully rogan will agree to be press sect. or the hulkster would work.

Despite the tongue-in-cheekiness here, why in the world has a such a large country, spending trillions of taxpayer dollars, have no effective non-partisan (if such a thing is possible) auditing agency/organization? Spare me any senate and house oversite committees or OMB.

How much was spent, or will be spent, for all of these EV charging stations? A hell of a lot was approved/allocated.

How much was spent, or will be spent, to bring internet connectivity to rural areas? A hell of a lot was approved/allocated.

How much Medicare fraud is there?

Where are all the infrastructure improvements from the Inflation Reduction Act?

How much money has been misspent or grafted away? Potholes the size of Rhode Island in Boston, Cincinnati and Indy. Bridges crumbling. But they built a few bike lanes. Oh, boy.

Why is the old joke about every farmer in the U.S. having his/her personal bureaucrat in the Department of Agriculture true or almost true?

Why do we have ten times the number of employees in the IRS we need when we could simplify the tax code?

There’s a guy in town with an entire instagram account devoted to our fckd up highways and roads here. You’re preaching to the choir. There’s a fundamental organizational flaw that plagues every agency. If you use or ask for less money it’s a tacit admission of less demand/need. Always ask for more

A retired volunteer fire fighter in the Lockland area of Cincinnati has been charged with Criminal Mischief for spray-painting around potholes as he was tired of nobody doing anything about them. Just wanted to make drivers in his neighborhood aware of the dangers.

Even if you could find people that were completely unbiased, as soon as they made a statement/decision one side didn't like, they would immediately be accused of bias.

Every cabinet level department has an Inspector General office. The biggest departments are DoD and HHS.... They each have 1500+ internal auditors on staff and release boring ass reports probably weekly. Feel free to go read them.

The GAO does the same thing, govt wide.

They are 1) appointed and 2) serve under the agency head if memory serves. They are “technically” independent but that’s questionable. I think univee is advocating for something more arm’s length

The GAO reports to Congress not to the President. And it has existed for over 100 years.

What he is talking about already exists in many different iterations.

The treasury inspector general overseeing the irs is a different relationship than when the irs comes to inspect twenty holdings LLC.
