Because we haven't had a Brad Stevens thread in a week or so. Thought I might put a target on my back with all the "Brad isn't coming here and never was" group. I had him at 0% once he took the Admin job with the Celts, of EVER coaching IU. I raised those odds to 10% after Seth Davis' announcement last spring. I would STILL like to hear from SD and get some input on why he released that statement. Maybe he WAS just spit-balling for clicks. Maybe he did/does know something. I'd like to know. I put the chances of BS coming to IU at 20% with some of the "We've got a guy who's considering and isn't coaching college ball right now" smoke. I raised the chances to 35% (mabye 40%) with the "Meeting in Miami over All-Star weekend" bullshiz. (Any word on how that meeting went BTW?). I lowered it back down to 1% after the "I am not a Candidate" news/fake news. NOW, when I say 35%, keep in mind there is still 65% in that equation that I feel the end results will fall in the negative category. Look, we are the guy in high school who got dumped by his GF (yeah, yeah, yeah we did the dumping but obviously we hoped it wouldn't come to that), and is looking around at ALL the girls he can score with. Man, it's interesting to be in that position, and sure, he doesn't have much of a chance with many of those gals but it sure is fun to talk about it with the guys over a few cold beers. I don't want Scott Drew coaching at IU. I don't want that Golden stalker dude coaching at IU. Hell, let's dig Bob Huggins out of the bar/scrap heap, change his oil and set him in motion.
