BOWL PROJECTIONS

Please not NYC, Memphis, CA or Det-riot.

Warm only

IU travels well and has $$, and would be a desireble fan base.
IF we stumble to 8-4 somehow, I wouldn't hate Memphis. The Liberty Bowl runs things right, the parade the day before the game on Beale is always cool...and we could drive there.

No. 1 preference would be to embarrass the Irish @ MS.
2nd choice almost anywhere SW but not California. Any hotshot, high flying opponent would do. Which makes top notch recruiting expand.
Thumping Notre Dame, in either stadium, in the CFP would be incredible!

At the risk of sounding like a Purdue basketball fan, I'd almost prefer that to winning a national title...not quite, obviously. But man, living up here near South Bend...holy smokes would that be amazing.

Lived in that vicinity 3yr. Now NE Indiana, much preferred. Couldn't agree more with your sentiments.

One can dream. There is a quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl. The UCLA game with the Rose Bowl/Old Pasadena combo was one of the most fun sporting events I have been too. I’d be back there without a doubt.
Somewhere warm such as Florida or AZ would also be good.

The reversible jacket crowd on TheHoosier “other boards” would be in a real conundrum over this.
