Biden ain’t stepping down, unfortunately, although it looks like the Democratic apparatus is gearing up to primary him. Newsom and Pritzker being thrown around as replacements.

Exactly, Today's right wants to equate policy disagreements as an indication that the left is crazy. The left points to wild conspiracy theories that Trump and some other republicans have latched on to as their evidence of crazy. There is a difference and it's a big difference. If you demand that policy positions be supported by verifable facts, then I think any reasonable person can identify things like pizzagate and other QAnon crap as exactly what it is. Clearly 100%, complete made-up crap.
And you need to demand support as well for claims of (say) climate change or institutional racism.
You might need to make a judgement call as to whether the evidence is (say) 80% supportive or 50% supportive, but one ought to be able to weed out the utter nonsense, and thereby recognize where utter nonsense is regularly coming from.
