Because he didn’t play for Bloom, he doesn’t like anyone he doesn’t make money off of!
I trust Bloom. Bloom was spot on about Lander and he may be again on Booker. Only time will tell.
Finally, a discussion about Booker's recruitment. I was wondering when this would come up.
Lots of us in Evansville thought Lander was overrated. In fact, I’d say it was the prevailing opinion among observers around here.
I went and watched him play against Bidunga from Kokomo in that Charlie Hughes event in July. Not impressed. He wanted nothing to do with Bidunga on either end of the court. He hit some 3's when Bidunga went to the bench and that was the only time he looked like he was into the game.
Maybe it was an off game for him, but it seemed to match all the scuttlebutt surrounding his motor and build.
Now the kid from Fishers....sign him up as soon as you can. Holy moly did he ever look good.

A lot of coaches around here do not like. Poker. They think he is lazy. Iu I heard backed off
Yeah. I saw a lot of that same talk going around. Which made me wonder if he is really somebody we should pursue. But I trust Woodson, and if he really wanted him, then too bad he went elsewhere. Even though he is now ranked #1, for whatever reason, I’m not really bummed on missing him. Maybe I will change my mind if he is amazing in college, but I think Woodson will continue to build a very good roster with players that fit what we want.
Yep. He's going to be a great player. It was crazy watching him play better than anyone else on the floor and knowing that he isn't even old enough to drive.

Let's not turn that Page until he gets here. Only then can we fully understand what it is the staff reads in him.
It's not a super high clearance secret that the staff values Page over Booker and has for some time.
If Page commits somewhere else, that is without a doubt a miss for the staff as he's someone that staff really really wants.
We don't have to wait and read into anything. This is how the staff has seen the two for some time.

Everyone that covers recruiting for indiana, including the writers for this site, have said that the coaches prioritized Page over Booker for some time. Would we have taken Bookers commitment had he wanted to come, probably, but I'm not wrong that the staff has Page higher up the priority list.
Again, this wasn't a big secret. And we aren't the only school that did this as well. Don't you think it's odd he came out with a top 10 and then all of a sudden just committed?
I’m note sure how much interest Booker had. It’s pretty apparent Woody didn’t put much into landing him. He chose to show out for 3 other recruits over him.
They actually stopped recruiting him for quite awhile. Then stopped recruiting him hard this summer. I just don’t think Booker and his family were ever serious. His mom got butthurt on an IU Twitter post about a comment that was critical of his motor.
