Dude is 24 seems like he has had at least 7 years of eligibility. Will probably find a way to get another year lol.

he's finally done

but the bad thing is we're gonna have to look at that #$%&@ prayer he threw in

at this time every march for the next 20 years

or longer
Everytime I turn on the tv this afternoon it's all they show. Like the hoffbarber shot.

Total dork. I wanted to slap that stupid look off his face and knock him to the ground.

Dork.

I remember a kid named Evan Eschmeyer was at Northwestern was 6 years back in the 90s.

And I noticed they still show the Recker baseline runner at the start of the broadcast that beat us in 2002. Didn’t Minnesota throw up a last second shot to beat us in 2008? Good lord, IU has more last second losses in the history of the BTT.

Here it is:

“Gophers' Laettner-esque shot shocks Indiana Minnesota's Blake Hoffarber caught a long pass with 1.5 seconds left Friday night, spun away from a defender and hit a 14-foot left-handed shot at the buzzer to upset Indiana 59-58 in the Big Ten. 3/15/2008”

Talk about sh*ty luck!

I think we needed at least a 15 point lead at the 5 minute mark yesterday to have a decent chance. You just knew every 3 pointer Iowa put up was going to go in those last few minutes.

They erased that early lead with a 3 pt blitz and you knew they had it in them to do it again. Something we badly need next season.

After the steal and breakaway dunk by TJD, giving us a 9 point lead with just over 5 min to go, we then had a stop on Iowa and that’s when we needed a great 3 pt shooter to put in the dagger in and make it a 12 point lead with under 4 minutes. Instead, we had a turnover trying to feed TJD inside and Iowa started their 3pt barrage and it was over.

a 3 would have been real nice

but i would have settled for just not making the damn turnover

we have not handled the pressure of the moment late in games this yr at all

even the ones we managed to win

that has got to change

Maybe Woody can steal a good upperclassmen 2 guard/shooter in the portal to help the situation next year. For a freshman JHS should be solid and I believe he’s a great ball handler/decision maker.

Kopp clearly wanted to get the shot, at least. Too often our guys look like they don't want to take the pressure shots. I thought he nailed the 2nd attempt of the possession, but when it missed all I could say was "uh-oh." And Keegan promptly drains a 3.

I think that was the sequence that cost us the game. Huge momentum shift and it came just in time for Iowa to make one last run.
