College Football 2021 through games of November 6 Saturday - Week 10

RANK | RATING | W L | SCHEDL(RANK)| VS top 10 | VS top 30| HOME ADVANTAGE=[ 2.09]
1 Georgia | 97.48 | 9 0 | 72.71( 36) | 0 0 | 2 0 |
2 Alabama | 94.71 | 8 1 | 74.87( 15) | 0 1 | 2 1 |
3 Ohio State | 93.81 | 8 1 | 72.37( 40) | 0 0 | 1 1 |
- I watched Husker defense give Husker O a chance to lose v. Buckeyes.
- I thought Buckeyes dropped balls they caught in Bloomington.
4 Oklahoma | 88.80 | 9 0 | 67.76( 70) | 0 0 | 2 0 |p
5 Michigan | 86.70 | 8 1 | 71.57( 47) | 1 0 | 1 1 |
- Huskers showed Michigan may have a chance to force Stroud to throw.
- That may be to OSU’s advantage.

6 Oklahoma State | 86.46 | 8 1 | 74.10( 23) | 0 0 | 4 1 |
7 Texas A&M | 86.27 | 7 2 | 72.00( 42) | 1 0 | 2 0 |
8 Notre Dame | 86.09 | 8 1 | 73.66( 27) | 1 1 | 2 1 |
9 Wisconsin | 85.84 | 6 3 | 76.89( 4) | 0 2 | 2 3 |
- Stopped making mistakes in crushing wins v. Trains and Scarlet Knights
10 Cincinnati | 85.22 | 9 0 | 63.75( 96) | 1 0 | 1 0 |
- Style points don’t count as to raise rankings much as narrow wins do to
- lower them. Now ranked below ND.
11 Penn State | 85.10 | 6 3 | 75.30( 13) | 1 1 | 2 2 |
- Thumped Terps and dropped one.
15 Oregon | 83.48 | 8 1 | 69.49( 62) | 1 0 | 1 0 |
18 Iowa | 82.35 | 7 2 | 74.43( 20) | 0 1 | 2 2 |
24 Michigan State | 79.29 | 8 1 | 72.47( 39) | 1 0 | 1 1 |
- Trains proved Sparty was living on borrowed time astride the tracks.
25 Texas | 79.21 | 4 5 | 77.58( 3) | 0 2 | 0 4 |
26 LSU | 78.91 | 4 5 | 77.68( 2) | 0 1 | 0 3 |
- Took over #2 hardest schedule spot from The U.
- I thought the SEC formula for success was cupcake non-conference games.
27 Purdue | 78.76 | 6 3 | 75.77( 8) | 0 2 | 2 2 |
- Was #35 last week. Strength of schedule suggests Boilers could be real.
35 Minnesota | 77.54 | 6 3 | 69.79( 59) | 0 1 | 1 1 |
- Dropped 9 spots.
42 UTSA | 75.54 | 9 0 | 59.80( 119) | 0 0 | 0 0 |
44 Nebraska | 75.27 | 3 7 | 75.79( 7) | 0 3 | 0 5 |
67 Indiana | 70.86 | 2 7 | 79.77( 1) | 0 3 | 0 6 |
- IU lost and moved up — Math doesn’t actually watch games to see what we saw.
- I did see 4 FGs and a late turnover instead of 4/5 TDs v. Wolverines.

69 Maryland | 70.45 | 5 4 | 73.98( 25) | 0 1 | 0 3 |
- 14 points on over 300 yards passing v. Nittany Lions, that’s at least a 50% discount.
75 Western Kentucky | 69.78 | 5 4 | 62.24( 108) | 0 0 | 0 1 |
- One of the teams we beat has a winning record now …
76 Illinois | 69.38 | 4 6 | 74.85( 17) | 0 1 | 1 2 |
- Made Tanner look bad for Gophers, after head scratching loss to Rutgers.
80 Rutgers | 68.56 | 4 5 | 73.59( 29) | 0 3 | 0 4 |
- Let’s hope Rutgers doesn’t have an athlete to game-plan McFadden.
87 Northwestern | 67.06 | 3 6 | 70.69( 55) | 0 1 | 0 3 |
182 Idaho | 43.41 | 3 6 | 57.76( 134) | 0 0 | 0 0 |

I can't figure Minnesota out. They look great away from home (30-0 at Colorado, 20-13 at Purdue, 41-14 at NW), then drop home games to Illinois and an awful Bowling Green team.

And then that Illinois team who wins at Minnesota, at Penn State, beats Nebraska at home with their backup QB, can't beat Rutgers or Maryland at home.

Still so much up for grabs in terms of bowls. The Big Ten East potentially could get 3 in the NY6.
