I spent last week in the greater Boston area. A couple times people would ask where I was from (I have a serious south/ Texas accent somehow) and I would Say Indiana. The normal response, still today is. Oh man thank you for Larry Bird!

If he had worn cream and crimson, he'd have set some terrific picks. Kinda like Bouchie. I remember when Bouchie put up 40 on Bennie in one of those preseason touring games between the incoming frosh and the returning players. Not sure Bouchie ever got the ball from another player to shoot it after that.

My dad used to say that RMK would take decent ball players and turn them into pretty good players, and great talents and turn them into pretty good players.
