It baffles me why many on the right are now blaming anyone other than Russia for what transpired in Ukraine. NATO has never even hinted at an attack on Russia, so claiming that any push for Ukraine to join NATO as a threat to Russia is nonsense. This is purely bitterness stemming from Russia's fall from global power to a has been, where countries like Ukraine, Georgia, etc. are focused on trying to move forward with Western economies and ways of life.
