The nerd in me had to know. Happened to find this study from 2023.

In addition, the literature highlights that once male puberty has been experienced, testosterone suppression does not reduce all the physiological advantages, such as lean mass, strength, power, and stature, to a degree that equals cis female values. Therefore, at this time the literature suggests that there is an unfair retained physiological advantage for trans women who have experienced male puberty when participating in female fencing competitions."
I favor laws and policies that require trans athletes to compete on teams that match their sex assigned at birth.
I also favor laws and policies that protect trans people from discrimination in employment, housing and in public spaces.
Polling reflects this is where the majority of Americans are on these issues.

I watched the episode last night. It’s very easy for MAGA supporters to post that Maher now supports Trump and to have the public believe so. That’s not what he said. He found Trump very different than the Trump he projects in public. He didn’t change his opinion on policies. He found him more engaging and open to a conversation that isn’t about only his opinion.
Honestly it was eye opening to me and gave a side of Trump I never really knew about. I think it’s ok to separate the man Bill found in person vs his policies. I think it’s interesting he found him very different than what we all see. I highly recommend both sides of the aisle give this episode a watch.
And btw, his interview on the show with Bannon was excellent too.

Maher didn’t say this but another obvious conclusion is that Trump’s early lie about not being a politician was the polar opposite of the truth. As a salesman, Trump is the ultimate two-faced politician. He’ll say anything to get elected, truth be damned.
The liberals could all join together in a Transamerican pipeline.
