Shaka was never all that good. Never won a conference championship, only made it passed the round of 32 once. Rode a lot of charisma, and tournament run to some undeserved notoriety. He's learning quickly that his patented "havoc" defense isn't going to fly at the highest levels of CBB.
there were some on here that wanted Shaka here at IU. It is still early in his tenure at Texas but right now it does not look that great. I was never that impressed with him and did not think his style would fit in the big ten.
Shaka hit pay dirt with the flavor of the month crowd. Good for him. Won't be good for Texas.
Back on point to original poster....Sparty escapes with a win at Minny. Healthy or not....Izzo's top ranked recruiting class might have been ranked by the same guys who had Hanner Perea as a 5 star at one point.
Illinois looked awful and Maryland isn't that good either.

Can't believe MSU came back and won. I went to bed at halftime and MSU had looked awful in the first half.
MSU went to Ward possession after possession and Minny couldn't stop him and refused to make adjustments. Little Pitino lost the game from the bench imo.

There doesnt appear to be many easy outs in the Big ten this season. Even Rutgers looks much improved this year. Probably Nebraska and Penn State are the only ones. We need to take care of business tonight and not have any doubt or it could be a long season.
I've been impressed with Northwestern all year. They are a sleeper for upper half of the B1G this year IMO
The B10 is the worst it has been in a decade.

If MSU would have played a decent team last night they would have got killed. Has nothing to do with validating CTC. Has more to do that even great coaches do not put together teams right.
You keep ignoring that two starters are injured and their best player has had an injury.
Which either makes you a liar, completely clueless or just plain dumb.
And, yes teams have bad years but one is not a trend.

The big ten is weak once again just like last year. I suppose we will be ranked like the 5th best conference again. Even winning the conference again will probably only produce a #3 seed or lower.
One other thought if Winston and Langford are 5-star guards then we have a real issue with our rating system.
