4* pick-ups Friday by UM and OSU. 2017 was a very down year for Big Ten recruiting-2018 is looking very strong......right now not 5* guys but lots of 3-4 yr types ranked 30-150. Right now Rivals has MSU #1, IU #6, UM #7, NW #9, MD #10, OSU #19, MN #21, Iowa #25 & Rutgers #27. UM still contending for Barrett, MD for Moses Brown & others., IU for RL & DG. MD, IU, UM & OSU have upside potential.. Right now, ILL has no one committed, but some nice prospects on the verge of committing. Don't see much happening for WIS & PUR. NEB & PSU are trailing, esp. Nebraska.

All-in-all, AM needs to get RL and/or DG or pick up some studs in 2018.......

Top 60 teams x 3 recruits = 180 recruits from top 200.

5-star is where most of the difference lies.

Purdue has two 4 star recruits, favored in Eric Hunter, another 4 star. Rivals projects one of them as a 3 star however where as they average a 4 star each among the ratings. Still a lot of recruiting time left, and late bloomers to say not much happening for them.

I think that the 2017 class is underrated. I have no idea how it's number 1 in the b10, but it is
