1) merit should always be the benchmark. Not status of how one identifies. We have laws to protect from discrimination.
2) when you set this as your objective you are limiting the pool of talent
3) it's pretty clear how out inept this administration has been - and its basis for hiring, its stated basis, has been clear
4) it does no favors to any of these people. If they aren't qualified it will show and impact future hiring. And if they prove qualified there will still be a stigma/asterisk. Better to hire a black female tranny and say nothing about it.

If you are honestly equating crime, inflation and high gas prices with this administration having gays, trans (does he even have trans in his administration?), female and black people in leadership roles, there is so much more wrong with this country then we could ever hope to fix in a four year span.

VP Harris was a woke placating hire. She was calling cops murderers before she had any evidence. She and Biden called into question the judicial system over Ritenhouse. They've contributed to the anticop rhetoric that gave rise to cops retiring and resigning and crime spiking. Pete played woke politics and sat home offline for a month during the throes of the supply chain crisis. You think for a second he was the best guy for that job. You think Harris was the best vp? Their attacks on the oil industry absolutely impacted where we are today with energy. Every problem we have they have exacerbated with their woke politics.
Hiring predicated on identity is never a good practice. HIring the best person possible is what leads to good governance. From what we're seeing these are hardly the best people available.

I go into way to many places of business that have adapted that philosophy to know that businesses have adapted to technology and people are taking advantage of it. It's not 1980 anymore. Blaming a program like WIC, a program that helps out a lot of poor families to get formula to their kids because middle class families can't get all the formula they want to purchase out right.
