Trump inherited a good situation and simply maintained it. And he still increased the debt load even before Covid despite a strong economy. You guys hate democratic spending yet never blink at unfunded tax cuts.

In 2020 we had one option to slow the spread (short of quarantine): masks. Trump mocked people for wearing them.
In 2021 we've had vaccines, and deaths have been highest where vaccination rates are lowest. Unless you'd support stronger actions by Biden (eg, stronger and earlier vaccine mandates), blaming him for the recent surge is misguided.
Masks. Right. Both fauci and the cdc ****ed up our early response. Hell biden has weapons in his arsenal whereas trump had nothing. Regardless blaming trump is every bit as misguided as blaming biden. Federalism etc. Biden couldn't even persuade his black constituents with a 3x higher hospitalization rate (you know the measure we've been using) to get vaccinated.
