Not as hyped as football Gameday. But I forgot how much I love this show.

So much analysis on the top teams in the country.

The downside is it’s amplifying my FOMO with IUs program versus the top of college bball. I guess it’s no longer fear of missing out, it’s more dejection at missing out, DAMO.

Watching Pearl…watching analysis of Houston’s principles…watching them talking about Duke…watching them run down all the SEC coaches… and then realizing who our damn coach is, and where we’ve largely been as a program, for almost 30 years now.

I’m sad.

The powers that be at IU have accomplished their goal to drop the IU bball program from the spotlight.

It's a new day. IU football has finally arrived. Think about that!

Nothing from this point forward will be the same for IU athletics, which are already really good (aside from our bread and butter).

I wouldn't worry about the Buckner crew getting another crack at things...lol.

But when does Buckner's tenure end? September? Would be way too late to form a team by that point? It happened in 2000, but that team was already assembled plus a good incoming class.

Buckner never was very smart, if you remember Knight was doing the thinking for him.

I'm always going to be concerned about the pro-Woody contingent trying to keep him around. We just saw Isiah doing radio in Indy to support Mike.

But Quinn is a lame duck. If Dolson wants a change, what is Quinn going to do? Scott just built up the the most important program in the athletic dept, brought in tens of millions in new revenue and marketing exposure, and got a raise and extension last year. Quinn will have a tough time winning a political battle with Scott this time around, especially since he is gone in the summer.

I guess Cook/Ferguson could pull back donations if they didn't like Woody being let go, but if this season continues as is, they will have been a big part of the $6M NIL that didn't accomplish much. Things are not good right now and it's hard for them to argue that.

The Woody crew got their way and it didn't work. It's likely the Scott and Pam show now... hopefully.

You watch any high level team on any given weekend and you realize how wide the gulf is between those programs and a program like IU. Coaching. Talent. Effort. IU isn’t even in the same hemisphere.
