Varmints have already dropped three on the road this year against St. Mary's College, Richmond and U. of New Mexico but handled Marquette pretty convincingly. KP has them rated at 106 & 28 for offensive and defensive efficiency respectively with a 146 SOS - for reference IU at 24 & 32 after last night. After their game tonight vs. NCST they have to fly home (on a potential 3-game losing streak) and play IU on Saturday afternoon in the Hoosiers first Game away from Assembly Hall.

Badgers averaging 68.2 pts. (42.6% / 31% from deep) and 15-16 FTA per game (shooting 81%). Also have fewer assists than TOs - 11.7/12.6, and as mentioned elsewhere play a deliberate grind-it-out to the end of the shot clock style and haven't had an opponent score more than 70 to date.

Don't see this IU Team as one that rattles easily - enough veteran's and uncharacteristically mature freshmen that first away Game shouldn't be fatal, and trust that The Staff will disabuse them of any over-confidence (after last night) and have them loose and focused come tip-off. While historically not a great venue for IU, these are not Bo's Badger's or CTC's Hoosiers. New Sheriff in Bloomington, long overdue for an old-fashioned badger hunt.

Stand tall, aim straight, go IU.

We definitely need to win this one.

8-0 team vs a soon to be 4-4 team. ESPN giving us a 27% chance at victory. Sounds about right given that TJD already has 2 fouls.

Just one small/big correction. Wisconsin has not lost any games at home this year. They lost to St Mary's in South Dakota, they lost to Richmond and UNM in Brooklyn.

No place in this country has given us more headaches than playing in the Kohl Center. Make no mistake, our Hoosiers are the better team but playing in the Kohl Center is a huge disadvantage for us.

Let's hope the refs have their eyes out for the flopping that Wisconsin excels at. Easier said than done, we need to take care of the ball, rebound and make free throws.

My bad - ESPN page seemed to indicate they were all home games as they used 'vs.' rather than '@' in showing past match-ups. FIFY to avoid further confusion/misinformation.

Re: flopping, someone should start a Conference tracker to keep count of which Teams get whistled for that the most. Can't recall much so far by IU this year although wouldn't surprise me if Aljami gets tagged a couple times - not because he's inclined to such theatrics but simply because of the way he moves combined with his lithe build. Say that because have seen a couple calls this year for flopping that were pretty thin grounds for censure.

Easy mistake to make but the same designation is used even if it's on a neutral court. In those cases the "home" team's schedule will say vs while the "visitor's" schedule will say @.
