After the weekend of action, IU is tied for 6th place, but PSU has the tie breaker against us right now with several games to be played. Iowa remains hot after sweeping Michigan in Ann Arbor this weekend and with UCLA losing to Oregon today, the Hawkeyes have a one game lead on them in the loss column. With Iowa being red hot right now, that doesn't bode well for IU which travels to Iowa City this coming weekend.

Michigan State has won six games in a row and they along with Iowa were the only teams to sweep their series this weekend, with MSU sweeping OSU.

I could be wrong, but at first glance it looks like not a single game has been lost to weather by any team so far this year. that’s shocking.

Yes, you are correct. With the way the schedule goes in college baseball, there are usually one or two games that are canceled for weather reasons, but so far, not in the B1G.

My thanks to AuroraHawk, a Hawkeye fan, for putting this together and I thought it would be interesting to this site so here it is FWIW. It lists the pools right now for the B1G tournament if the season ended right now, and it lists the remaining series for each team in parenthesis. If I'm not mistaken, the bottom five teams in the conference are eliminated from the tournament.

Pool 1
Iowa (1, 17-4) (Indiana, @Washington, Oregon)
Illinois (8, 10-8) (Purdue, @Rutgers, UCLA, @OSU)
Minnesota (12, 7-11) (USC, @Nebraska, Maryland, @MSU)
Note:
Nebraska (7-11) (@Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan, @Purdue)
Rutgers (7-11) (@OSU; Illinois, PSU, @Maryland)

Pool 2
UCLA (2, 13-5) (PSU, @USC, @Illinois, @Northwestern)
Indiana (7, 12-9) (@Iowa, Purdue, @Michigan)
Northwestern (11) (8-10) (Washington, @Purdue, OSU, @UCLA)

Pool 3
Oregon (3, 14-7) (@MSU, Washington, @Iowa)
Penn State (6, 12-9) (@UCLA, Maryland, @Rutgers)
Michigan (10, 8-10) (MSU, @OSU, @Nebraska, Indiana)

Pool 4
USC (4, 11-7) (@Minnesota, UCLA, MSU, @Washington)
Washington (5, 11-7) (@Northwestern, Iowa, @Oregon, USC)
MSU (9, 9-9) (@Michigan, Oregon, @USC, Minnesota
