The B1G weekend action is over with, and IU was hurt by not winning that series against USC and are tightly positioned in the middle of the pack in the conference. Two teams got swept over the weekend and that was Purdue which got swept at home by UCLA and Minnesota which got swept at home by Iowa. Purdue is finding out that playing a marshmallow nonconference schedule does not prepare you for a much tougher conference schedule. Iowa has taken advantage of an early conference schedule that is not all that challenging so far, and they play Northwestern next weekend.
