Longtime IU fan, including season ticket holder for 22 years. The B1G’s expansion ( and likely more to come) translates to making it even harder (not easier) for IU to consistently have a winning record even if IU gets a periodic reprieve from playing OSU and UM. With the increased TV money coming, IU should be able to move on from Coach Allen at the end of 2023 unless IU has a winning season and gets to a bowl game, which seem unlikely given IU’s schedule and reliance on freshman QBs. Coach Allen is a standup guy, but this should be a pass/fail season for him. I’ll continue to follow and root for IU, and will not be one bit surprised if IU has a new staff in place by December 1st. My early short list of replacements includes Dan Mullen, Ken Niumatalolo, Will Muschamp and Tyson Helton. Go Hoosiers !
